    Driver Induction Form

    Zilch Waste Pty Ltd is a waste management facility for the construction and demolition industries, recycling concrete, C&D (builders waste), bitumen, bricks, steel, timber and green organics.

    The following items are strictly prohibited from our site:

    -Asbestos of any type
    -Fibro cement products (sheeting, pipes, fencing etc)
    -Smoke Detectors
    -Petroleum based products
    -Tyres and tracks
    -Radioactive waste
    -Biological waste
    -Hazardous waste
    -Food Scraps
    -Regulated waste

    Loads to be allocated to an existing account must be authorised by account holders before arrival on weighbridge.

    Strictly payment at load / unload otherwise. EFTPOS is Available.

    By Entering this site, you agree that you have the relevant qualifications to operate your vehicle. You are also confident and competent in maneuvering your vehicle.

    DRIVER'S CODE

    -All drivers are to obey all signs and instructions at all times.
    -All drivers are to identify themselves by their registration no. either by two-way (UHF26) or the speaker on the bridge.
    -Safety clothing and steel cap boots must be worn in all designated areas.
    -All vehicles must be roadworthy, the management reserves the right to refuse entry to any vehicle.
    -All incoming traffic must have right of way.
    -Children entering the site, must remain in the vehicle at all times.
    -All loads must be covered and tied down prior to leaving the stockpile area.
    -Under no circumstances are any driver or passenger to shovel any over-flow materials from the ground.
    - All driver's are to know the legal GVM for the vehicle.
    -No truck will be permitted to leave the site if it is over legal GVM for that vehicle.
    -No litter is to be discarded onsite.
    -All drivers are to drive in a safe and courteous manner.
    -No Videos or Photos to be taken.
    -Any incident, accident or near miss must be reported to management while on site, and before leaving the site.
    -Disposal loads will be classified at our discretion. See on site staff if in doubt before dropping material.
    -In the event of an emergency, please proceed to the nearest assembly point at Griffiths St entrance.
    -All drivers are responsible to ensure that their load is of legal weight and secure. That side bars, draw bar and tailgate are clear of material prior to leaving the stockpile area.
    Maximum speed limits:
    Weighbridge = 5km
    On site = 10km
    -The weighbridge is a non pedestrian area.
    -Do not get out of your vehicle while on the weighbridge. Use Ch26 to speak to WB and yard operators.
    -No Mobile phones are to be used on the weighbridge.

    ONSITE TRAFFIC FLOW

    1.All traffic entering the site have right of way.
    2.Unless there is a vehicle on the weighbridge leaving the site. In this event, drive into the yard and reverse onto the weighbridge.
    3.UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE ARE YOU TO QUEUE ON THE DRIVEWAY AT THE ROAD END WHEN VEHICLES ARE LEAVING THE SITE.
    4.In the event you are entering site and there is a queue onsite, you must join the queue and reverse on the weighbridge.
    5.Remain on weighbridge until you are directed to proceed.
